Tony's Guest House
A popular backpacker budget accommodation of 8 rooms, may share room or have your own. Situated 3kms from the centre of Nuku'alofa in a bushland tropical setting. Getting to town is no problem as the shuttle service is provided daily for guests. A popular activity is their kava nights where you learn about Tonga over a coconut cup of the renown kava drink.

Hotel Reservation & Cancellation Policy
The rates issued by the Hotels will usually run year-round. The busy seasons in Tonga are the months of July and December, make sure to book early to avoid disappointment. At any season: January - December for all destinations. If notification of cancellation is received after sending the confirmed hotel’s voucher: Additional charges will apply for our service fee as follows.
Time of Cancellation Applied Charges +21 days prior to check-in 2 night plus 20% of total price will apply for service fee. 21 days (or less) prior to check-in 3 nights penalty plus service fee (20%) will be charged. 14 days (or less) prior to check-in No Refund In case of NO-SHOW or early check out, non refund will be made. (Considered as cancellation without the required advance notice) Amendment need to be made not less then 10 business days prior to check-in date (in case of emergency, please contact our reservation directly.) We will not be responsible for any (additional) charges incurred after cancellations/ amendments without confirmation from our side. For authentication purposes, only written cancellation notices (e-mail or fax) will be accepted. The refund will be made through bank transfer or through your credit card, depending on the original method of purchase. Additionally, although marketonga.to will instruct the bank to handle the crediting process immediately upon notification of cancellation, it could take from 4 to 6 weeks for the actual crediting to take place, depending on your Bank's practice. Booking Procedures
You can request booking via e-mail: hotels@marketonga.to OR esekava@gmail.com OR follow through our Reservation Form. Once receipt of your booking request, our staff will contact the hotel to check for room availability and make tentative booking. If the hotel required is fully booked, a similar standard and location will be suggested.
We will send our reservation confirmation for your record and indicate payment due date which depends on each hotel and season. Our normal response time is within 36 hours.
Payment Method
To guarantee your booking, please print out Credit Card Payment Authorization Form, fill in the details and fax back to: (676) 24640 or (676) 25017. Another method of payment is via telegraphic transfer to our Bank Account: Marketonga Ltd. ANZ Bank, Cheque Account, #1393895, Nuku'alofa, TONGA.
We strongly recommend payment via
credit card for our NON Tongan clients - It's simply the easiest way to go.
If for any reason we do not receive payment by due date, we regret to have to release your booking automatically.
Once we have the approval code from the credit card company we will issue Hotel Voucher of which one copy will be sent to the Hotel and one copy will be sent to you via e-mail (to be printed by you), fax or handed over to you by our guide if airport transfer is requested. In the case that booking was done at very soon to the check-in date and you did not receive the voucher, simply check in with your passport.
This hotel voucher is our payment guarantee to the hotel for Accommodations ONLY. The hotel may request your credit card to imprint for payments for other hotel services (such as telephone, laundry, room service, mini-bar, etc.) which are to be settled on your bill as your own expenses when checking-out.
The following credit cards are welcome, but attracts surcharge. If your payment is by credit card, the item in your statement will be shown as Marketonga Ltd.
Security Advise For peace of mind, may we suggest that you ask your hotel if they have a safe. We recommend you leave your valuables in a Hotel Safe. Banks also provide this service. Crimes againt Tourists is rare in Tonga, nevertheless, we still advise you be on the alert when walking alone. 'Marketonga' is not liable for any theft or loss to property or lives during your stay in the Kingdom of Tonga. Your Privacy at Marketonga There will be situations in which it is necessary for us to collect information about individuals. We collect and hold personal information such as names, addresses, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers. If customers choose to purchase Marketonga products or services, we collect credit card details and other identifying information in order to process orders and provide customer service. Our agents (whom work only via us) may also collect personal information in the course of gathering material for inclusion in our newsletters: All information given to us is kept safe and under security. The only exception to this is if we were instructed by Tongan Law to do so.
