Outer Island Resorts Fafa Island Resort Set on a 19 acres island 30min. by launch from the main island of Tongatapu. Fafa offers total peace and relaxation in a casual and friendly atmosphere. The fale (Tongan word for bungalow) is built in tradition style & materials with an open air bathroom, a unique experience of accommodation. The restaurant on the waters edge is a meeting point of the resort where you can enjoy gourmet dining, seafood, and a variety of tropical cocktails. There are 8 superior and 5 deluxe fales set under palm trees a few steps away from the beach providing maximum privacy. All have open air bath room, private verandah, walk in dressing room, hammock and ceiling fan. Bathrobes and early morning tea and coffee service is provided. The spacious deluxe fales also have refrigerators. The resort provides great swimming, snorkelling and a swimming pool as well. It is also known for its great diving and sportfishing which can be arranged with their friendly Italian owner. The 30 room resort provides accommodation for one to four persons. Rooms have polished wooden floors, ceiling fan, own bathrooms, each with a refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities.
